Otterndorf
The picturesque nature of Otterndorf reveals itself to you on an idyllic river cruise on the Medem. Afterwards, the charm of the old town will enchant you as you explore the winding alleys on a relaxed stroll.
For pure action, visit the waterski facility or simply relax at the bathing lake – Otterndorf has something to suit every taste.
Cuxhaven
Cuxhaven is always worth a visit. Here you can daydream at the popular viewing platform »Alte Liebe« while the big pots pass by. Afterwards, take a sunny walk along the mudflats and discover the fascinating beauty of this unique world heritage site.
Your perfect holiday also includes a visit to the island of Neuwerk, which you can reach by hiking through the mudflats, with a horse-drawn carriage or by boat.
Bremerhaven
Many exciting sights await you in the largest city on the North Sea coast, such as the museums »Deutsches Schifffahrtsmuseum« and the »Deutsches Auswandererhaus« or the maritime animal park »Zoo am Meer« with its fascinating sea creatures.
You can explore the seaport by bus or barge and learn amazing things about the city's history and modern maritime economy. And in the world-famous scientific center »Klimahaus 8° Ost« you can even experience the world's different climate zones first hand.
Helgoland
You can easily reach Germany's only high seas island, Helgoland, by ferry all year round. Located approximately 60 kilometres from Cuxhaven, it not only offers duty-free shopping, but also an extraordinary natural spectacle.
The striking lighthouses and the famous landmark »Lange Anna« are further highlights of the main island and its neighbouring island known as the »Düne«. Helgoland is an unrivalled experience – once you've been there, you'll want to come back again and again.
